Also got myself an old version. And yes, the new clasp offers more flexibility with respect to turning it up- and downwards. I think the old version was connected to a normal chain link whereas the new clasp is connected to a dedicated chain link.

I'm pretty certain that I saw Josh say on an IG post last week that the model 10 is "discontinued" for now while they are redesigning it with some upgraded "security features". He said you might not even really notice the tweaks but they are making some adjustments/improvements.

Ha, that would fall right in line with the pattern of a mkII coming out every time I buy a mkI of something.
That's interesting, though — I wonder how it could get any more secure. I'd also wondered why they were MIA on the GAH site for so long.

Yeah I'm not sure how it could get any more secure either but yeah, I was wondering the same thing regarding them being MIA on the GAH site then when I saw Josh's IG post (can't remember if it was a post or story) it made sense.
He is making the Ship John version of the Model 10 with the three brass links though that comes out later this month but other than that I guess we just have to wait until they introduce the updated version or cop one from one of the GAH vendors.

The security features and new changes are to combat the rampant counterfeiting and knock-offs that are proliferating out there.
The Ship John version was a 25-piece run that launched last week and I believe is already sold out. Unless they are planning to do another one…
