I agree with both of you 100%! Square G-Shocks are beautifully designed classless tool watches. No matter how much money I had, I'd still like to wear Casios. The Japan made DW-5000R-1A with a solid steel case and screw down case back really outstanding. I does feel different than my 15 year old solar squared that has travelled the world with me.

My favourite Gs currently.

@RobeOfTheMagi nice! I’ll have to take a shot of mine as well
-
My wife thinks I should get rid of the DW-6900U (the one on the right) though...
-
Similar but different:

The Japan made DW-5000R is the lates addition to my little Casio collection. The build quality is superb and the rubber band is comfy. However, the module is not as advanced as the one of the GW-M5610. The battered G-Shock on the right is about 15 years old and it's been with me from German bouldering gyms to Javanese volcano tops.

My every day watch for 7 years and going strong. Take it off to bathe and swim and that's about it.

@Matt That's cool! I don't feel intimidated at all.

That's Sweet!

Rocking the TVB today

My attempt at making a keeper for this was a resounding failure, so I bit the bullet....
The way the lume has faded is a testament to the magnificently life this watch has had.

A lot of G-Shocks in this thread but not really enough G-Shocks.

Thought I'd share my humble Casio in this thread - It's an A1000 that was screaming out for a NATO strap instead of the super garish milanese that came with it. Full stainless and mineral glass but looks like a classic F91, if you know you know
This is probably my go-to watch 90% of the time tbh -
I love a GShock! I’ve been wearing this one at work almost daily for going on ten years.

-
@Danimal506 I think if I was gonna get another G-Shock I would probably get that one, tough solar, radio control, and still looking good after 10 years of daily wear - what's not to like
looks good man
