Was finally time for a new strap and bezel on my square. It used to make me laugh that guys on the watch blogs would say there G-Shock was on its fifth set of resins.. I’ve wore this GW-M5610 every working day on a roof for 9.5 years and only just wore through the strap keeper
I’ve had and still have much nicer watches but what a piece of kit a G-Shock is. And square and only square.

Nice Pepsi @RobeOfTheMagi I reinstated mine as a travel watch with a strap to make it look less flash

@Matt said in The (Less intimidating) Watch Thread: New Brew Metric Star… Do you still have this and how have you liked it after having it for a minute? Been looking at the metric star and the metric retro dial. Saw yours and loved the look of it. Thank you for any insight

@Matt awesome man, all I needed to know. Been in the market and your metric star caught my eye. Thank you

The old seikos in here inspired me to upload my favorite watch, ever. I picked this up a few years ago when my ancient turtle prove unsalvageble, and haven’t worn any other watch, since. Never had a citizen, before, but it’s been crazy reliable, and who knows how long it’s been kicking’

The monocoque case is crazy comfortable.

I'm thinking about getting a Casio DW-6900U-1. It's one of the coolest G-Shocks, in my opinion. However, I do not really need one, since I have the predecessor of the GW-M5610U-1. Which is arguably the better watch.

Okay, here it is: DW-6900U. Only very little has changed from the '90s version.
