The Garrard is being worn more than the Seiko SPB143 at the minute - taken me completely by surprise.
It’s not too big, it’s quite loud, and it’s got a nice bit of history to it.

… Oh, and the only way to adjust the date is to manually wind through… no separate way of adjusting date. Initially frustrating, but now a quirk that I have grown to accept.

I splurged on a turtle finally. I love the shape and fit of these, and even though they’re a hair on the larger side, they wear well below their measurements. Unfortunately this has to be exchanged due to the typical alignment issues and some weird brushing errors. Hopefully I can get a good example when it comes in.

I picked up a vintage non working Chronosport UDT Sea Quartz. I mainly wanted it because it was the watch Stallone wore in the Rambo movies. There is a guy in Australia that fixes them so I’ve sent it off to him for repair. Hear is a non working photo.

I’m pretty excited to get it back from repair. After re reading my post it sounds like its the actual watch he wore in the movies. This is just the same make and model he wore.

Very new to watches. Been rocking a classic Timex field watch forever. Came across this citizen at a little local shop and 40% seemed like a nice introduction into this world. The emerald green really caught my eye.

@WhiskeySandwich looks like a good fit for your wrist despite your previous comment about their size.

Loving mine a few months in, seems to go with everything!

As someone that hasn't worn a watch regularly for years, I'm finding myself having to resist buying more now I've become accustomed to having something on my wrist.

I'm finding this particularly alluring at the moment...

Cool watch! You can also try and find an old Certina DS-2 with a thick plexiglass. They were and still are such cool watches.

@Graeme yes thank you I read it. I believe it is out now. It’s sold out on the Momentum sight. The new ones are nice and would definitely take on water better than my old one. I never really heard of the brand before and it looks like the Chronosport ones were a pretty good watch. The guy repairing mine has got it working again so hopefully I’ll back in a week or so after he is done testing.
