On our way to a Dead show in the early 90’s. I’m in the middle and still wear green cargo pants, white t-shirt and a Fanny-pack.
A lot of great pictures posted here - keep em coming!

Nice, possibly Ijen. I once went down into the Bromo vulcano not far from there (but no lake)
You're absolutely right; it was the Ijen with its traditional sulfur mining. Nowadays it's probably only a tourist attraction.
The sulfuric gas ignites naturally in a blue fire:

@goosehd That was our gas & grilled cheese money
made a mint selling those 7.5% beers at shows along with patches that I had made up while in Nepal. Good memories.

Hi guys. Here is an interesting photo from the USSR of the 80s. Draft beer was sold in such boilers. Jeans were a luxury and a desire item
-
that's a very cool pic @Walery-Smirnoff

It was a time when jeans were not available for sale. They were sold by speculators at bazaars at two or even three times the price. For example, the official price of jeans in a Soviet store was 100 rubles. At the bazaar, speculators asked from 200 to 350 rubles, depending on the brand. Levis and Wrangler were the most expensive. Italian, German and Indian jeans were cheaper. And the average salary of a worker at the plant was 200-250 rubles. Although even now the same Iron Heart costs 45 thousand rubles. The average salary is the same.
