Probably not.  We do so many of them in so many different colours, we simply can't take them all/create threads for them.  I don't even know what the model number is…...Sorry

I was wondering about a model number as well…did not see one on the SE website. It would be cool if maybe we could make a post topic that features all printed t-shirts. Is there one like that that exists or no?

Like yeah, if you've got a few months.  Even Haraki does not know what he's done….

There is not, but as a group effort it would be fun. Everyone can take pics of the tees’s they own, supplying lot numbers where known. We can copy post from/link to, the existing tee threads, and build an informal, gloriously chaotic, woefully incomplete, catalogue. I love it.

Brilliant, over to you guys.  We will do all we can to help, but I am serious when I say that H does not know what he's done.

That's what I'm paid to do.  The others deserve the thanks, not me.  But thanks…...

Haha well thought out response, Reuben. I have recently purchased a few IH t-shirts and I would like to add those to this sort of thread…now what should we call it? "Random Printed T-shirts"? "Show us your printed tees"? ...

I've been experiencing lately, that I don't get e-mail notifications for all the thread I'm subscribed to.  Seems to be random which threads I'm subscribed to that I get notifications.

Has anything changed in that regards or is a fault of some sorts?

Gonna test the limitations of the title here …

If I were to visit the production shop in Japan, is there a possibility of having a custom piece done? I plan on spending 3 months in Japan early 2022 and I love the idea of having a sample made of a type 3 jacket. I’d be bringing some Pendleton wool for a lining on it.

Absolutely zero I am afraid…...We are not a custom shop, so anything like this becomes a major aggravation......Sampling an item costs twice as much as making the same thing once it is in production, we may have to sample multiple times with no possibility of recouping that investment in a production run.  Sorry.....

To hem or not to hem …

Have quite a few IH tops now, but just received my first pair of IH jeans (1955S). Absolutely perfect fit, but as expected a few inches of extra leg length.

Ideally, I’d wear them with a single cuff. Should I get them hemmed by IHUK now, or double cuff them and wear them/wash them a bit first to see how they settle in?

                              thanks - Bill

Hmmm…. There won’t be any shrinkage to speak of, but they will rise a little with wear as creases form.

On the other hand, heavy wear with a double cuff may cause damage to the fabric which may affect your hem job/single cuff.

On balance, if they were mine, I’d get them hemmed now.

@Bill C If you plan on putting them into a traditional clothing drier,I would leave an extra 1/2 inch just to be on the safe side.

I’d imagine the difference is marginal to none. And at the end of the day the major differential will be whichever pair you will wear the most.
