@Oaktavia they were never actually in production.. they are a one of two pair that Amos made for my dad and I back in 21’
Mine are out of 16-18oz material and my dads are 14-16oz.
It’s pretty cool to see the different fabrics wear together. He might make you a pair if you ask nicely

Wow those are amazing! I am messaging him now on Instagram to see if it is possible to have a pair made. Thanks for sharing and the heads up!

My favorite easy bottoms are the climbing pants and shorts of Battenwear. They haven’t made a run of them for a while, so I’ve been seeking out integrated ratchet belt options elsewhere. Got a couple from tech brands but found another heritage brand. And also got a Hensley I love from them. Good stuff!

The ratchet mechanism here is not quite optimal but still good. The platonic ideal for an easy bottom is a ratchet belt that easily loosens and tightens. Take note Iron Heart: having to knot and unknot drawstrings is too much work for “easy” shorts

@mclaincausey Gramicci makes great integrated belt pants and shorts.
I’ve been eyeing GPWW easy pants for a long time though.
-
@jordanscollected agree on gramicci and have been similarly eyeing grease point off and on
Brock made me aware that their workshop is apparently 2-3 blocks from my office - i had no idea
-
@GraemeE not anymore!
They just moved down closer to me.11th and Division.
-
Thank you for the tip @jordanscollected ! Looking.
-
@mclaincausey pretty sure Gramicci is considered the original in this design. I have their winter twill pant and they are great.
-
@sabergirl my pant’s definitely have a higher rear rise. Hard to measure perfectly with the crotch gusset.

It’s pretty obvious Battenwear borrowed heavily. They look awesome.

@GraemeE right?! They’re closing in on me

HOLY FUCK THESE ARE INCREDIBLE!!! Wild style work jean. Thanks to @Brock for the suggestion to hit up Amos. Both vents are stand up guys. My pair of 684 is nervous AF I be cheating on them now cause this pair ain't coming off.
Edit: I keep seeing new parts of these jeans! I asked for red stitching, Amos said they don't take requests. Lo and behold, there is red, white and blue triple stitching.
I counted 13 different fabrics (some of which are belt loops):
Double indigo denim
Double indigo duck
Sand/tan denim
Olive denim
Slubby denim
Neppy denim
Camo duck
Indigo Sashiko
Brown duck
Dark brown duck
Hickory
Indigo denim
White/cream denim -
@Oaktavia These are epic! I especially love the last photo with the indigo duck and slubby denim opposing one another.
-
Also the different colored rivets and buttons!
They are soo sick!
I was lucky enough to see them in person before they went out.
Enjoy dude!!
Can’t wait to see them broken in… and some fit pics!!? -
