@Stuart.T If I’m not mistaken, it was Blue Oyster Cult that first used the term heavy metal to describe their music. Their symbol is the symbol for the planet Pluto, which is the planet of Heavy Metal.
Steppenwolf…heavy metal thunder...quite a few bands 'referenced' the term heavy metal, but usually as a metaphor for motorcycles...as far as the sound of the music, guitar tunings, lyrical themes, iconography and image, Pentagram were there...they took Blue Cheer and added evil.

Wow Talk about bringing back memories. I loved Blue Cheer back in the day. Saw them twice. Loudest band ever.
I am in awe of that dude! That must have been something.

Call me by my name / Downsizing - both great movies worth watching imo

Caught a movie that flew under the radar from last year over the weekend called “Cold Skin”. It’s a Lovecraftian sci fi horror set in the early 1900’s about sea monsters invading a small island…..that’s all i’m saying as it’s well worth a watch.

Did you like it @Seul ?

I hated the ending ???

I really liked it and I like Sam Rockwell.
I thought the ending lends itself to a follow on? not sure if that has been mentioned anywhere in film land.
-
I’m a bit old fashioned in the sense that I believe if you’re telling a story you need to tell the whole fucking story

You mean PRETENTIOUS SHIT PEAKS

I hated the ending ???
***** Potential spoiler** (I tried to be as vague as possible)
I strongly disliked the ending at first, too. But, after discussing it with the person I went with, I realized that it's strongly suggested how things will conclude, which shows some real growth for at least one of the characters. (Who'd have thought you'd be cheering for him at the end of the day?) I've come to be quite satisfied with the ending.
