They really did their homework getting the details right and factually accurate.

Is that observation based on professional or personal experience?  😃

        Purely professional, thankfully.

Last Days Here…a history of Bobby Liebling of the band Pentagram. If you love Sabbath and don't know these guys, you better know. If history played out differently it's them that would be forever labelled as the inventors of heavy metal.

Liebling is an f#!&ing loon too...Ozzy who?

            Watched 'I Tonya' last night.

Liked it and it comes with a good soundtrack too.

@Stuart.T If I’m not mistaken, it was Blue Oyster Cult that first used the term heavy metal to describe their music. Their symbol is the symbol for the planet Pluto, which is the planet of Heavy Metal.

Just to muddy the waters a little more, the term was apparently first used in a newspaper review of a concert by The Doors. Something along the lines of «Listening to The Doors is like having a ton of heavy metal land on your head».

Steppenwolf…heavy metal thunder...quite a few bands 'referenced' the term heavy metal, but usually as a metaphor for motorcycles...as far as the sound of the music, guitar tunings, lyrical themes, iconography and image, Pentagram were there...they took Blue Cheer and added evil.

Caught a movie that flew under the radar from last year over the weekend called “Cold Skin”. It’s a Lovecraftian sci fi horror set in the early 1900’s about sea monsters invading a small island…..that’s all i’m saying as it’s well worth a watch.

I thought the ending lends itself to a follow on? not sure if that has been mentioned anywhere in film land.
