@northsouthdenimguy man those bubble toe natural I want so bad. Are they the ship john release from awhile back? I’m still mad at myself for not grabbing them
 -
Yup SJ. Surprised I was able to get a pair. I usually like a flatter toe but these look really good.
 -
@northsouthdenimguy yeah I was about to buy them but I had a pair of lofgren natural at the time so I passed. But ended up selling those… I have those horween Essex coming this week and I’m really excited to see how those are in hand
 -
I almost bought those but couldn’t justify with already having Brown CXL and Brown horsebutt. Share some pics when you get them, looking forward to seeing them.

Ugh I wish black bison was available for US customers. Would love to build a boot in that leather!

Update on these. I took them camping over the weekend in an effort to break them in quicker. I put them through the wringer, and can say they are worthy of the hype. Although I don't suggest taking them hiking, it was one way to speed up the process. I wasn't originally sold on the idea of a heavy "work" shoe, but damn these are solid.

@northsouthdenimguy ...that red clay will make it three tone as that clay doesn't wash out easily.
 -
I’m wondering that myself on that burlap , although probably won’t get much on it unless I miss step and go ankle plus deep, which I’ve been known to do. Plus this georgia red clay uncompacted is like quicksand.

This question popped up in the Ship John thread, but perhaps it’s better asked here; have there been any Boss 7500 collabs in a brown rough out released with a Dr Sole half-sole? I know Ship John has the Derroll in the 7500, but is fitted with the V-Bar full sole. IH Germany has a custom engineer with a half-sole, though in V-bar.
Any insight from any of you afflicted Wesco engineer collectors?
