@Bobcat-Sig I never had any trouble with getting into my Wesco Engineers from the start. Had a bit of heelslip that got less with wear, some times I felt they got looser and I adjusted the straps. My wescos are the IH Germany roughouts, size 10E, I wear 10 in Red Wing Moc Toes and they are roomier without being sloppy.

Last night’s brown CXL horsebutt, tonight natural CXL “bubble” toe
I guess I don’t have to tell anyone here, but my Wesco engineers are my favorites out of any brands I currently own or have owned in the past. There’s just something about the leather, the silhouette, everything about them. To me, they just look the best.

@northsouthdenimguy man those bubble toe natural I want so bad. Are they the ship john release from awhile back? I’m still mad at myself for not grabbing them

Yup SJ. Surprised I was able to get a pair. I usually like a flatter toe but these look really good.

@northsouthdenimguy yeah I was about to buy them but I had a pair of lofgren natural at the time so I passed. But ended up selling those… I have those horween Essex coming this week and I’m really excited to see how those are in hand

I almost bought those but couldn’t justify with already having Brown CXL and Brown horsebutt. Share some pics when you get them, looking forward to seeing them.

Update on these. I took them camping over the weekend in an effort to break them in quicker. I put them through the wringer, and can say they are worthy of the hype. Although I don't suggest taking them hiking, it was one way to speed up the process. I wasn't originally sold on the idea of a heavy "work" shoe, but damn these are solid.
