Unless IH is doing long and short variations of shirts, everyone should keep in mind that there need to be a balance in the sizing across all body types to make them work for as much as possible folks. As long as you don't go for bespoke, sizing will always be a compromise…

I agree that the UHFs are a bit too small. I'm just over six feet and weigh 170. I have three large UHF's, each of which is short in the arms and a tad short overall. The XL is too big for me.

My ideal IH Larges are the 07 and the 92 (hickory stripe and hairline duck.) Both fit perfectly. The large UHF's fit closer to a medium in the so-called large size.

@Giles any chance of returning to a "traditional" white colored button, or will these follow suit with the past years' black? If they are black, will "pimping" the buttons be an option for some?

I would rather have a longer than shorter length. Normally the body is fine, never had a problem with IH length, but the sleeves is a little more of a problem depending on the shirt.

Why I say more than not enough? While say the longest armed guy/gal(say possible in the world) in their size that fits perfectly, the next person with 4" less arms(in the same size) is having a lot of stacking. They can get it shortened by a professional, but the long armed person can't get it added.

That is how I see it.

This aint a petition, I've made up my mind what's happening…...   But whether H listens to me is another thing.

The top buttons will be what H and Tom decide.  But they are so easy to swap out, it should not be an issue...

I'm guessing most clothes manufacturers have to make their garments to an average body type, of course not everyone has an 'average' shape body and surprise surprise, people with long arms want a shirt with long arms and people with short arms want…you get the idea.
Do I want to buy a £200 shirt and take a punt on having it altered at extra cost? No not really. As you were.

I think most plaids look waaay better with faded jeans, but that white/blue will complement even a new pair. Looks great!
