Are you sure those are Norwegian made?

Sorry, you are right. I was being lazy in my description. Strictly speaking no, they're made in England, but after a Norwegian design, for a Norwegian company  https://www.dundasfootwear.com

Do you know anything about them @Giles ?

Hey Finn666, when you get a job, someone believes you can do everything required of that role. You have two responsibilities at that point – 1) don’t prove them wrong; and 2) prove them more than right by demonstrating that you can do more at every opportunity.  Now you have a chance to shine again.  Congrats!

Thank you. They seem like the real deal?

And thank you very much to everyone who played. You've all been very helpful. The Chromexcel is eliminated from the running, and that is a good start. There's something about the zug/latigo that I find strangely appealing, but it isn't really an option. It's down to the Bayou or the horse. I'll let you all know how it pans out…

bought at pair straight from WL, they have tons of leather options- Love the bayou.
Straight from WL they can do stuff like line them, you get to choose what soles you want (even hobnails if you are so inclined)

Not quite the highest finish like viberg and wesco, but bomber built. heavy and stiff.
And a fraction of the price..

Libs at WL is great to deal with

                    @den1mhead thanks for that.

They certainly look like the real deal. I'll find out for myself after the weekend as I've just ordered a pair. Went for the Roast Coffee Bayou. The horse looks beautiful and I was strongly swayed by @Chris arguments as well as the enthusiasm of the rest of you. Thing is, I own a pair of mid brown coloured boots already (IHxViberg Smokejumpers) and while the differences in the leathers are massive, I felt the colours were a little too close for the luxury of owning another pair in the same colour range. The plus points for the Roast Coffee are that they'll take a shine and I have no boots at the mo that will do that (two pairs of roughouts and two oil-tanned) and I liked the contrast of the midsoles with the dark leather. And let's face it if they work out well in terms of fit and quality, I can always go back for more  ::)

I'm having a hard time choosing my next pair of jeans. The ones in the mix are: 666-SII, 666-UHR and 666-S. My perfect pair would be 777-UHR, but that's not happening.

Fit (from best to worst): S, SII and UHR.
Fabric (from best to worst): UHR, SII and S.

So, which pair to choose? Should I consider other models as well? 777 looks best fit wise, but not too keen on any of the fabrics.

If I were you, I'd approach it like this. If fit is more important than fabric then 666S. If fabric is more important than fit, the UHR. If they are both of equal importance the SII.

From a personal point of view, I own BB's in UHR, have had the SII tour jeans a long month and have a vest in the 18oz. They are all great denims but very different. The UHR is probably the most interesting but  even in a Scandinavian summer they are warm. They do not breath at all. The SII are great fun. I'm seriously considering a pair even though my short, wide legs don't love the 666 cut. The fading, the roping and the texture is just cool. I think the 18oz is the classiest denim of three. Lovely colour and hand on it.

My personal fave IH denim is the 25oz which you can get in the 777, so you obviously don't fancy that one, but no love for the 555 cut or the 17oz natty indigo denim?

Thanks @neph93 - always appreciate your input! The thing is, I'm pretty sold on the 666 cut even though my BKs aren't all that representative of the cut. The tag29 in those fit me so damn well. They're slightly slimmer than the rest, it seems. Lower rise as well. I really like the tight top block of the 666, which I think is slightly roomier on the 555?

SII are probably the front runner atm, but I'm having a hard time choosing hehe. None of them will disappoint though.

I was pushed over by the recent reduction. UHR incoming!

Although I don't own either shirt I will throw my two cents in.  I think you should go with the 75.

I've been wanting to get the 75 for a while now but all the other great shirts keep popping up that are extinct items so I've been allocating my funds for those, but one day I will grab a 75.  I think the 75 might be a bit underrated for an IH shirt but for me it just looks so damn good.  Simple, clean, classic, tough.  Great looking fabric, great buttons.

In my opinion the contrast stitching on the 136 screams a little too loud for my liking.  It does look like a great fabric though and I'm sure as it fades the contrast stitching will be more subtle.

I'm thinking of getting the Rizoma tail tidy for my Thruxton. It can be run in two configurations: With a rear light (top), or a licence plate light and a pair of multifunction indicators (bottom).

I'd be using the US licence plate mount, which is a bit more compact, and not fitting the reflector.

I'm trying to figure out a configuration. The options are:

                                          • Retain the rear light, and fit a set of Rizoma Clubs. This is the set up in the top photo.

                                          • Retain the rear light, and fit a set of Motogadget M-Blaze Pin indicators.

                                          • Retain the rear light, and fit a set of Watsen Design LEDs. I don't think that these are CE approved, and so there might be a legality issue.

                                          • Fit the licence plate light and a set of multifunction Rizoma Clubs. This is the set up in the second photo.

                                          • Fit the licence plate light and a set of Motogadget M-Blaze Edge multifunction indicators. These would probably be paired with a set of the Pins up front.

The M-Blaze Pin is to the left, and the M-Blaze Edge is to the right in this photo.

The Pins are pretty small. Here they are in situ on a Bonneville.

This is a gloss black Watsen Design indicator. They're also available in a matte finish, which is what I'd go for.

I'm thinking options 3, 4, or 5 at the moment, but am terribly undecided. Anyone got any ideas?
