Well, this morning, I felt my country boy roots, so I whipped up son sausage gravy, for biscuits and gravy (and eggs & hashbrowns as well….), but I only have a pic of the gravy...

Then, I've spent the rest of the day working on this pasta sauce…

I promise, the food is better than the photo quality, lol

The "expired" mini-pizza… Hungover, needed some greasy comfort food...

• miniature dough, pack of 8 (expired, free)
• pizza sauce (free, had a coupon baby!)
• red onion (free, three a pack, two were off)
• bell pepper (no story)
• parmesan cheese (expired, free)
• slices of goat cheese (expired, free)
• smoked salmon (pack from my parents who left for Italy, would've expired otherwise)

Total cost: 0.50€ (the fucking bell pepper).

I made pho yesterday. We made the broth the day before. It was solid when cold, due to the amount of collagen that was in it!

Had some friends over, made some Beef Tenderloins, with Béarnaise Sauce.

Had the inlaws over for dinner last night.  Did a 45 min low temp (225F) smoke with hickory, cranked up the heat and put a nice sear on these Akaushi NY strips:
