@GraemeE I've had a couple of cystoscopies over the last few years. And while there's some level of numbing in the beginning,but when it's all over you have to pee. I've heard it described as pissing razor blades,and I would call that a fair assessment. So,I empathize with you.

They tell you it will hurt a little the first time you pee after one but that’s some bullshit. First you pee all the lidocaine gel out which is disconcerting then it hurts like a real sonofabitch for the rest of the day. I stopped drinking water because I was too scared to after.

The colonoscopy was a breeze, with those it’s the prep that gets ya.
