@Mizmazzle the county took their dogs. They’re paying for my medical bills. So at least there is that. Haven’t decided if I’ll take any other action. Once I got inside I asked my wife if my pants were okay.

@Mizmazzle my dog thankfully did not sustain any injuries. I got bit a couple times and took a head to the face that split my lip. Worst bite was on my wrist. Could have been a lot worse. Vest and cargos are good. Maybe a little added patina from getting mildly mauled

@GardenState Geeze Louise that sucks man. You are 100% correct don't be a dog owner if you can't control your dogs. Fecking idiots. Glad you are (mostly) okay and your dog is too. What kind of dog do you have? I think I would have asked my wife the same about my pants had I been in a similar situation.

@GardenState sounds like a fucked scenario. But, if you’re like me, and obviously you are…I’d way rather take the pain myself then have my dogs attacked.
Probably hard to see at the moment. But there is a silver lining here.

Has anyone else noticed that spell check is getting much worse with spelling, autocorrections, and with suggested words. Over the past 5 to 6 months it's been driving me mad...I find that when I go back to texts, posts, etc. that it changed words without me catching it and say it's a little annoying to say the least.

@goosehd yes, yes, yes. And on a broader scope, the entirety of tech getting worse is called enshittification. It’s probably the thing that drives me the most nuts. Like, we have AI making pics of dogs skydiving but the basic stuff, like “search” is becoming unusable. I can rant on this for days…

We had a guy ask @Freeman today if we were going to make an A2 with a mohair collar.
When Freeman said, probably not. The guy then asked for a list of the suppliers of the mohair, whipcord etc etc and for the patterns of the N1 and the A2, so he could make his own.
I think Freeman was quite polite.
My answer would have been just 2 words. Get would have been one of them....

@goosehd I work in a University and I had one of my learners fall for this scam this week. The poor soul went so far as to print a check that the scammer sent to them. He then proceeded to bring it to his bank and cash it. Of course now his bank account has been closed and he's come crying to us about "what can you do?" etc. How do you tell an adult to not be so damn gullible? Who in their right mind would think a check you printed off your HP all in one is going to be valid?
