I got the idea for this thread through a stupid joke I was having earlier in the "Recent Purchases" thread. So here is an idea that I'd like you good people to jump in on.

"The IHF Photo Book - Vol 1"

We all post WAYWT pics right? Many of them are of semi decent quality too. So how's about we think about crowd funding (amongst ourselves) a pretty hard backed photo book of our classic Iron Heart outfits?

Denim books are super popular at the minute, a book containing great shots of us in our favourite IH gear, international people that we are, in our favourite items, in our favoured locations could be a winner I think.

Thank you, there are so many gatherings and meet ups of people on this forum that over a 12 month period (for example), we could put together a huge collection of great images I think. If we could could get the Jp crew in on this too it would be great.

We have the clothes, we have the people, we have the means and we even have some decent photographers in our ranks. Come on guys, let's do this

Have you started looking into the logistics (cost) of publishing a book Mega?

Nope, although I know people who have (on a small scale).

First thing to find out is if the idea has wings, if not then no point investing any more time in it.

i work with a really good printing shop in potsdam who is doing a fantastic print job on books with pictures in it.
can get a quote for printing costs of a book with lets say 100 pages? something between A4 and A3.
what would be the a fictional edition be, 1000 - 2000 copies?

are also willing to do the design of the book.
