Thank you, there are so many gatherings and meet ups of people on this forum that over a 12 month period (for example), we could put together a huge collection of great images I think. If we could could get the Jp crew in on this too it would be great.

We have the clothes, we have the people, we have the means and we even have some decent photographers in our ranks. Come on guys, let's do this

Have you started looking into the logistics (cost) of publishing a book Mega?

Nope, although I know people who have (on a small scale).

First thing to find out is if the idea has wings, if not then no point investing any more time in it.

i work with a really good printing shop in potsdam who is doing a fantastic print job on books with pictures in it.
can get a quote for printing costs of a book with lets say 100 pages? something between A4 and A3.
what would be the a fictional edition be, 1000 - 2000 copies?

are also willing to do the design of the book.

I'm not sure how much interest you'd generate outside these virtual walls and this is bandwagon jumping of the highest order but if you want to do it then why not? Try to bring something original to the table within the idea though to differentiate it from the other glossy denim books on the market. Perhaps some insight into the people featured? Just my $0.02.
