@Oaktavia in my opinion perfect placement would be the bottom of the IH patch in dead alignment with the centerline of the carhart patch if that makes sense.

Creek Angler’s Device x Blue in Green
I like the Quiet Mountain Cafe, Creek Angler’s collabs BiG has done but this one I love. It is a simple cap with a washed finish but it is decidedly 90’s and makes me pine for a simpler time. -
@Oaktavia If it were mine I would remove the carhartt tag and lower the patch about 1/4".
Not sure if the carhartt tag is just stitched on or glued and stitched. If its glued, just leave it because you won't be able to remove that glue. Stick a needle or awl or something small and sharp underneath and try and wiggle it around and see if there is glue holding it on. If not, I'd seam rip it and take it off to reduce visual noise.
