@Denman-John thanks dude. I’m stoked to get the beefier sole on them. I too have some red wings I put a Vibram 100 on and they are unstoppable. So having that sole on these boots…should be unstoppable.

@Denman-John they seem a bit heavier but not by a lot. Course they were heavy from the jump. But I honestly don’t even notice the weight when I’m hiking.

And I'm with you regarding weight, in general I never seen to take notice of the weight of footwear. (Too used to heavy leather shoes/boots as this point I guess).

@Denman-John I’m taking them out backpacking this weekend. I’ll check back in on their performance. But I agree. The new sole balances out the profile of the boot so much better now.

@jfive67 oh nice dude. I’ve heard those ridgeways are good…but I’d agree, not on a boot like this. I use mine in the backcountry on the regular so a legit lug was a must for me.
