Iron Heart UK V4 - Update Time Again
-
OK, Shoque will probably hate me for doing this because if you ask 100 people their opinion about anything you'll likely get 101 answers….But I would value your feedback guys...
We have identified some shortcomings with Presta, the shop software we currently use. For instance, just about every time I have a "great" idea, Presta struggles to cope. That is why "what do you have in my size" has had to be backed out and why "returns" has not been implemented.
So we are going to move to a new platform.
That means a redesign.
Please let me know what you think would make your life easier as a shopper/browser/lurker? Are there some seminal features that we don't offer........?

'What do you have in my size' is an excellent feature and I hope to see its return. Other than that, I did have a problem with one checkout last year, but I can't recall what it was (mostly because it was my own damn fault).

A couple of thoughts:
- The ability to select a type of denim in bottoms would be nice; raw, OD, weight range, LHT, etc
- Fix the checkout system to work with a partial Paypal balance payment + CC/Bank Account
-
would be cool to have a chain stitch hem option on the same checkout page as the jeans you're buying instead of having to do two separate searches. it's a minor thing though, because it's really about 5 seconds of effort.

INB4LOCK…something friendly with mobile devices. Seems kinda hard to navigate on my razor.
this will be a core feature of the new website.
-
building off of what veloaudio said and what i did a while back…you could consider a fully faceted catalog.
filter by cut/material/item etc.
-
Logic to not show out-of-stock, and auto/only show in-stock combinations is always good.
It might have a bit more of a back of house learning curve, have been hearing MANY good things about spree;

When is the t shirt coming out? Can it have gold lettering as specified? Take my money!
