It really does, but the reason I almost bought the black was that orange thread with the black hide. Black cordovan also ages really well…that wallet is super nice!

Just to say hi to everybody in the forum. I have been drooling over this wallet for a while now and it seems my wife picked up on that because I just got the black one for my birthday last week!
This thing is unbelievably well made, it looks and feels like it will outlast me
One thing to note is that it really is very thick (1.7"), once you fill it with credit cards and money it will take up quite some space in your back pocket and might get a little uncomfortable when you sit for longer amounts of time (like on a motorcycle). This is not criticism, it's just the way the wallet is made but it might be good to know for people looking for something a little slimmer.

one other friend of mine had it for a bit too. I like the fact that it has been whored around actually. With most things in this world being "throw away" now, It amazes me how something can get daily usage, by 3 different people, for several years and still be going strong.

Little update: been riding a lot with mine over the last 6 months and my initial fears where totally unfounded, the wallet sits perfect in my back pocket when I ride and does not bother me at all! I have driven +1200km in one day over a time of 17h with no issues or discomfort whatsoever.
It is impossible to sit on an office chair with this thing in your pocket though. Guess that means I just need to get out and ride more

Its slowly changing shape, molding to my rear and the exterior stitching is a little blue from my jeans bleeding (when I rub it with my thumb most of the blue goes away though), not worth posting pictures over (yet). Still as beautiful as day one! -

So glad the ring loop is reinforced. My loop has started to crack, but I imagine it will take years to split through. Not that it helps mine, but it is an improvement on a wonderful design.
