@Chibs This looks great! One question: those measurements (and the mention of it being Large)... Did you mean to say size 3?
Just making sure, because I've seen wildly different measurements posted between the different stores and most recently the measurements Guilty Party posted have me questioning which size I should get again.
This looks good on you - do you mind sharing your height/weight? -
@indigo_fades my bad! It’s a 3! Sorry to add to the confusion. Fixed!

5’11”
170 Lbs -
@Chibs Its all about that thick hem and cuff isn't it...
You can always get a new sofa

@Chibs That's awesome, thanks for sharing. I'm also 5'11 and 170lbs so I feel much better about my size 3 choice now. I appreciate it!

@indigo_fades post up once you get yours. I don’t think I could have asked for a better fit. It’s such a beast! I was comparing it against my IH shirts. Heavy and awesome! Silver lining with this new beast is no one here even noticed I got a new shirt because it’s an indigo button down. That’s basically camouflage in my wardrobe now.

This is the way

wow, withered fig and blue owl sold out of theirs in like a minute. The thirst for the Tricotine is real.
-
Currently soaking mine - no indigo came out at all (its prewashed so perhaps not surprising). Its gonna be a bitch to dry today though in the cold. Skip the soak.
EDIT: Some indigo came out in the end. Soak optional

@will6er any shrinkage? Did you do a warm soak? Or cold?

Warm but not super warm. Hard to say I didn't measure but I doubt it.

got mine today
what a great shirt !!!
love the fabric, very unique
It was a good decision to order size 4 and 5 , from the measurements I thought 5 would be good but it’s too big . The 4 fits 100% perfect and I can even wear a long sleeve henley under it which is great for work. post some fit pics tomorrow after an initial soak. -
@Daniel-San what are your metrics if you don’t mind sharing?
-
As someone that is relatively new to this, can someone one educate me on why you guys soak a pre-washed shirt like this? Thx!
-
@samo UES recommends a soak to get some
Of the ink out. But it will most likely still bleed a bit after the fact. -
@dugafola
I’am 1,76m and weighing around 90kg at the moment

️ . that’s all can provide at the moment.
But I wouldn’t give too much on those comparisons. It’s the measurements that really counts and the cut of the clothes. -
@Daniel-San maybe I should soak mine too. Do you just submerge in warm water or do you agitate in there as well?
-
@Chibs
I put it in the washing machine on handwash program with 30 degrees.
just took some pictures
now that’s what I call blue water
. There is only one shirt that bleeds as much as the Tricotine and that’s the Kersey

-
Wow!
-
@Daniel-San Wow... I just soaked for 40 mins, no agitation. Maybe should have done more... Anyway, its dry now ready for wear tomorrow so thats that.
