More data for anyone else needing advice. I’m mostly an IH XL and I have a size 4 tricotine from last year. Very happy with the fit. 6ft, 85kg. Depends on this run’s measurements though of course.

        Awwww fuck it!
Usually a L in ironheart stuffs and oredered a Large in the Tricotine from Rivet and Hide. I like that they pay the taxes and free shipping. Hopefully she fits! Way too curious about this shirt to let an other year go by.

still not convinced i need a tricotine based on what ive seen and read, but to help with sizing, I'm generally an XL in western UHFs, sometimes can go down to a Large, and usually a large in hard faced fabric westerns like the 293 or 33 and have a couple of UES flannels in 3 that fit comparably. The size chart on the Amundsen from R&H, which I got this year from a different vendor, appears spot on to how mine fits. It would make me hesitate on ordering a Size 3 Tricotine personally and also hesitate on a Size 4 with it being too big.
Hope it all works out for you guys!

@tenuin can i please get your thoughts? I have the heavy ues flannel too, but how does this compare to that? Like is it just different hand feels etc? The heavy flannel is so nice and soft, im guessing the tricotine to be rougher?

Rivet and Hide just did their tricotine dropped.

I need another heavy shirt right now like a hole in the head...... January is turning out very expensive.

@cyclops feel is definitely different. A bit coarser on the outside, not brushed on the inside. Its the same exact pattern from what I can tell otherwise..feels more like an outer layer. here's definitely room in your wardrobe for both 😉

@tenuin hahaha totally dont 'need' another. My heavy flannel is indigo too 😁

I now have more shades of indigo in my closet than i ever thought i needed.

                    Ok thanks for the feedback!

UES flannel sizing was always a bit variable, but it sounds like it's become even more so. I'm a 2 if I want a shorter slimmer fit, or a 3 if I want a fit similar to an IH work cut in M.

@Gavin666 i have already bought an XL. I annoyingly have broad shoulders at 18.75 so anything around 19 is safe for me. Lets hope it turns out ok

Looks like I picked the correct size according to UES measurements. Hopefully I get mine with smaller shoulders though. I guess there’s always the option to hot wash for some shrinkage.

Safe to assume that anyone crunching measurement numbers should automatically default to the UES published size chart? doing a cursory glance at stockists that have had this shirt before (withered fig, bears, Rivet, redcast), it seems that the recently published UES chart is overall bigger. I'm focusing mostly on P2P and shoulders in the larger sizes.
