No I dont wear boots in JA, or pants for that matter! I rediscovered cowboy boots about a year or so ago and it combines well with my IH mania…

i could imagine you walking along in those boots & the looks you would get from some of the locals. . .although i think some of the youths would actually pick-up the cowboy boot thing & run with it.

to get back on track dope boots & individual style, not my thing, but you can't knock it till you try it

1. Hiking boots for rough use/hiking. (Danner mountain light)

2. Black "nice" pair for work (Doc Martens Ormond)

3. Brown "nice" pair for work (Alden Indy chromexcel)

That is pretty much what i use 95-98% of the time.

Any suggestions for a pair of nice hiking boots along the lines of Diemme or Fracap's mountaineering boots? Diemme's US12 is just a tad too small and it seems that Fracap's aren't made any bigger than EU45 (US11).

derivative666, i had a pair of Asolo boots many moons ago (like 94 or 95) & regret giving them up (even though they were black & yellow not sure what i was thinking  :-X)
