Hmmm, which battlestar? Surely you mean the sci fi channel reboot… Anyway, having been a hardcore fangirl for both, I would be hard pressed to choose. SW would probably win purely because first loves are often the fondest.

Battlestar Galactica > any and all Star Wars movies.

Objectively and intellectually, yes.  The reboot, of course.  But as sabergirl said, first loves are the fondest, so Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi will always hold a special place in my heart.  Anything done after 1983 is shit.

Unpopular opinion: no sci-fi or fantasy series is worth that much of my time. I watched the pilot and enjoyed it, but I still remember the NOPE moment upon seeing that there were 74 more episodes. There are too many things to read, see, and do in this world for me to invest that kind of couch time into a single work of fiction. Same goes for watching and rewatching Star Wars, etc.

Same thing also with epic fantasy books. Not going to read 22 phone-book sized tomes filled with eye-glazing minutiae about the brocades on some chicks' dresses and casts/plotlines that are impossible to stay on top of without reference materials, I don't care how much exhortation I get from Game of Thrones and Wheel of Time fans. For WoT, I got fed up after 7 volumes and just read the damn FAQ when the series finally ended (after the author's death). Writers who enjoy the smell of their own farts and who create and milk worlds rather than moving their estimable imaginations on to other things don't deserve my support. If BSG could make an abstract maybe 1/3 the length I'd be all over it.

          TL;DR: TL;DR

          Think it, be it.

Isn't that the one where the drunk guys falls into a shelf at a convenience store, and the owner comes after him with a bat, and it's all filmed by a b/w crap quality camera?.. Fucking love baseball man…

It can be very boring at times, and with 160+ games, it's a long season. I will say though, that being from Boston, I'm a Red Sox fan and always will be. There's something magical about seeing a game at Fenway that might even change your mind about the game.

Will be in DC to see the Braves play, growing up in Atlanta I can't deny being a Braves fan.
