@RWalleyTX - I have 1955 and 888. 1955 are about an inch higher on the rise and are definitely roomier/straight in the leg. I’m no denim historian but to my mind the 1955 definitely has a retro 50’s vibe.

I find the 1955 super comfortable and wear them for everyday wear. I get the 888’s out when I want a slightly smarter look.

Made an account just to say, please for the love of god make these in SBG. I'm in love with my indigo pair. These have the best fit by far of any other style I've tried.

I finally snagged a pair of 1955, I think the only IH fit I haven’t tried- and I have to say I think this is the fit for me. Really surprised they aren’t more popular. I’m 100% in for a pair in XHS, UHR, SBG, 18oz Vintage, really anything. These have probably leapfrogged everything else in my closet for once it gets too warm for 25oz.

@october-rust I’d like to try a pair. I’ve always been interested but the leg opening always seemed like it’d be too narrow for me like the 888s. Yet the pics people post all seem to suggest otherwise. What’s the hem like on yours?

@popvulture I sometimes feel the taper is a bit too drastic for me on the 888 but I didn’t get that sense with these in the hour or two I wore them. My initial thoughts were, with the higher rise but added room they’re what I love about the 888 and the 634 combined.
