How do I shorten the W10 Brass Key Hook? I know I need to take off the "Iron Heart Pride of Japan" ring and one of the brass rings but don't really know how to do that.

@petersmith At first glance you will need to open the rings to do so. I would use two pairs of pliers (needlenose, vice grips, etc.) and open the ring by using opposing pressure on either side of the opening. To avoid marring the brass, use electrical tape (or duct tape) to wrap the teeth of the pliers.

Sorry if it’s already been asked but does anyone know if the wallet chains can be easily shortened?

@Aussie-Ben Sorry for the slow delay. In my opinion you should be able to separate the chain at the split rings and remove bits from the setup. I have screen captured one of the chains with the split rings showing where you should be able to remove a section. You could remove bits of the chain and then reattach the split ring to the shortened section. Should be able to do that with any type of cutting tool such as metal saw, bolt cutter, or carbide cutting disk.

You could also go to a jeweller to have it done. As it’s in brass, you may need to confirm with them ahead of time if it’s something that they can do.

@goosehd legend mate, thank you very much for the reply. I want to clean up my current setup and reckon that should work out fine.
                              Cheers IMG_3630.jpeg
