Seul, what size did you get? I am going to place an order for a grab bag or 2, not sure if i should go with M or L. I'm pretty sure we are similarly sized.

            I'm 5.75 (1.75m), 73 kgs. I got size M and they fit brilliantly.

Could you please measure the heavy weight Tee (shoulders / chest)? Not sure wether M or L would fit me. Is their sizing consistent?

Already been mentioned but the 3sixteen heavyweight tees are great, picked up both white & grey.

Thanks seul! Yes, the 3sixteens are great, yet thinner as IH. But I prefer their collar and shorter sleeves.

Just got an older model of these in burgundy. Sized up to size L and it's still a bit tight in the chest.

Excellent quality, fabric, and pricetag (loopwheeled and made in Japan after all) though…

I'm glad to find a T-shirt thread here, it was exactly what I'd been hoping to find.

For whatever reason, the quality of 100% cotton t shirts from all the standard brands seems to have been dropping in recent years- flimsy transparent fabric, easily creased, collars lose shape, shrink in the dryer  etc. Even sportswear t shirts are worse than a few years ago!

So like the rest of you I want a nice one, so I looked at the Iron Heart ones first, and compared measurements to my favourites.  Whilst I'm positive it is admirably made, their plain white one doesn't taper from chest to opening, and is too short in the body.  As a fairly big (6'1 230lbs currently) guy, who is a gym rat with a long torso, I need a fitted shirt not to look sloppy.  Pretty easy in classic business shirts, but quality t-shirts, no.  Anyone got any recommendations for me?  Cost not really an issue.  Polos are easy to find in the fit I like, as are Superdry t shirts, but I must be able to do better than that…. Many thanks!

Iron Heart's t-shirts are pretty amazing, and now even the super heavy ones have taken it up a step in terms of a really bulletproof t-shirt.

If for some reason the measurements don't match up to what you're looking for, we carry a wide range of really well made blank tees at Self Edge: http://www.selfedge.com/t-shirts?limit=60

I am in the same boat as you. So far the best ones I have found are the 3sixteen T's.  I am also about to put in an order for some Lady White T's as well so I will see how those fit.

Edit: @kiya  Can you recommend any of these shirts (the plain white ones) in terms of taper?  I did browse through a lot, but I couldn't spot openings in the measurements.  My favourites tend to drop from 23-21 (or 46/42) through the torso, from chest to opening.

By the way, some of the shits look damn good!

In fact I do taper my t-shirts, which is rater cheap and easy in Thailand.  Quality of the workmanship is iffy, often, so I'd rather let the manufacturer do it.  Increasing length of a t-shirt is more of an issue…

When I buy t-shirts back home in London they tend to have 1/2inch-2 1/2inch taper.  Looking at my Asian brand t-shirts here, none of them had a taper till I had them amended.  Western and Asian body shapes do differ, so it is understandable.
