HUGE thanks to @henry_david and @LewisStonehouse and @popvulture for convincing me to get a pair of Birkenstocks…. Foot pain is completely gone. They are still achy but my limp and agonizing pain is completely gone. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate this.
Yes!!! I didn't know that was a regular problem for you, Mike. I'll say that I went many years without them and now I have Arizonas, Bostons, and Londons so that I can wear Birks for all occasions/weather scenarios. Birks are truly life savers. Which ones you got now?

@Filthy glad they're working for you, man! They're so comfy, especially after you give them some time to mold to your feet. Mine are sore as hell lately as well, not sure what's going on but I'm pretty convinced I'm just getting old and the feets are mad at me about jogging. Just ordered some Adilette slip-ons for around the house — they're another classic for soothing the dogs.

Speaking of Warren Zevon, @Filthy , I picked up his biography by his wife I'll Sleep When I'm Dead. I haven't yet read it, but it looks amazing and has a foreward by Carl Hiaasen, an author whom I really enjoy who apparently was buddies with the Zevons.

I had to talk to @Sarina about something earlier today. I could hear her kids being kids in the background. So when I signed off I said "Give my love to the rugrats"…...Sarina did not know what I meant so I had to explain.
A few mins ago, she sent me these and asked if this is what I meant....

I want to thank everyone on here who has reached out to me via Instagram or DM regarding the recent passing of my Dad/best friend. It really means so much and you all know who you are!
If This is news to you, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer mid July and he passed away on August 28th. It was very quick and very hard! I’m still in shock and I can’t believe it’s real.
I’m grateful for this community and the outlet that we all have to be there for each other in so many different ways.
