Hey Graeme, those fineliner refills are awesome!

Especially if they get you invited to Zoom conferences with Davide Cerrato! 😉

I've not had a chance to try them out properly yet, but they sound good.

Yep, looks shit now, but give it to me for a year and it'll be a very different thing…..In the summer and Autumn my watch arm is in saltwater almost every day....

But it aint happening.  The PP is getting agonizingly close.......Just got to work out how to get it here from Switzerland......

G-Shock MTG. I work on stainless steel tables in the kitchen so my GX-56 gets more wear to keep from scratching the band, but i love this watch.

It's great that it's solar, but the best part is the resin inserts on the inside of the band to keep from getting sweaty or sticky on your wrist. It's so comfortable on the wrist.

I’m jealous. I was looking at that watch but when I tried it on it looked like I zip tied an instrument cluster to my 6.75” wrist. My wrists are just too small for it.

those MTG g-shocks have been tempting. especially with the other model with the titanium or something @Graeme posted not too long ago..

I saw one (pretty sure it was that model) in St Thomas last winter and it is impressive. I’m not too sure how popular it is, the dealer was giving good discounts on B&R. [emoji2369]

Very 70s retro futuristic look to it.  The always on LED display is interesting, too.  I can see how it would appeal to some, but it's not my preference.

I also like automatic watches more than quarz ones. But always on display is very interesting to me. But the price of about €600 is also "interesting" for a quarz watch.

The Pulsar's display isn't always on. The reissue has a reflective LCD with an OLED light to illuminate it when needed.

As for the price point, there are some pricey quartz watches out there. Some of the metal G-Shocks cost about the same (or more), particularly the titanium models or the MR-G range. Omega, Citizen, and Seiko (particularly Grand Seiko) have even more expensive options.

It's an early 80's call-out. As such, it's not bad. Not sure that's the first thing I'd bring back from the early 80's, but then again, not sure what I'd want to bring back from the early 80's anyways…  :-\

Tudor have announced a blue version of the Black Bay Fifty-Eight. It's available on a couple of straps or a bracelet.

I've never seen one of the original Fifty-Eights in an AD, despite them being out for two years, so I'm guessing that this is another unobtainable watch.

I am new to this group and figured I would share my primary watch I wear.  Its a Bulova Spaceview circa approx 1965 or so.  I grew up with my dad owning one he got new (and still wears) and always wanted one.  I got this one about 20 years ago.  I found the Bulova period band about a year or so ago.  It is a great watch but you can't lay it on the bed stand or the hum will keep you awake.
