@sabergirl I just measured the opening at 20.6 (same as the waist). For avoidance of doubt, I used the IH method at the top of the side seam gussets.

@Phil_NYC wow! Another one before launch. Might I ask what size? And if able, the measurements? Would be very helpful for me if it is XL or XXL.

It’s an XL. Almost identical to my 292. About 23 in the chest, 37 in the sleeve (i always ask for the longest sleeves) and about 30.5 in length. Didn’t measure shoulders but feels just like my other XLs so probably around 19.

@Sunnergren they are already for sale in the stores. I have mine showing up today. I will post pictures when mail gets delivered. I ordered an xxl by the way. I tried it on in store a month ago when I was buying some jeans.

@Sunnergren my advice is to always size up if in between. Give yourself a bit of room for shrinkage, layering, and to gain a little weight.

@jordanscollected thanks for the advice, if I decide to buy it will be my first CPO. I have prior only had the idea that it should be worn with only a T-shirt underneath. But if I size up I can probably fit a shirt as well for the colder periods.
Does anybody know if i can I expect any shrink in this 13oz broken twill?

Got my broken twill in black in today. Initial fit is pretty close to perfect. P2P is a hair tight but still fits very well.
Here are the measurements if interested.
Size - xxl
Shoulder - 20”
Length - 30.5”
P2P - 23.5”
Opening - 23”
Sleeve length - 27.25”
Sleeve opening - 4.9”I measure using the method shown on iron hearts website and not how self edge advises.
Here are a couple of pics as well. In one of them you can see how this will start to fade.

@Ral1121 What size shirting do you normally wear? with those numbers, I may size up from typical XL.

@JerkStore I am usually an xxl. My P2P that I usually shoot for is 24”. Everything else was good on this shirt except for the P2P. It is still very comfortable though for me.

@sabergirl I was surprised to find this out as well when I called a store a couple days ago. Strange that they release them for sale in store but wait for online. When I bought mine on Wednesday this week, my xxl that I got was one of 9 through all the stores.

I could maybe understand just putting them out for sale in store, but phone orders and shipping is weird, for sure. Then again, the release online also is scheduled before the party even happens, so who knows. What would happen if they sold all the stock before the “release”?
