IH-744-GRN - 10oz Back Sateen Baker Pants - Army Green
-
Picked up a pair. Really looking forward to this fabric…
-
@Briggtopp best bet is to check the retailers listed here: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/939820
-
Wish I had gone for these now. Got put off by the IH JP social post as they looked like shiny disco pants!
-
@Briggtopp congratulations and enjoy

-
@Gavin666 Thought that about the 4oz "Shell suit" but seems to look great on the shots people have
-
It’s difficult into you see them in the flesh but tend to agree they look awesome. Think IHJP should pass on some of the Insta posts as they could put most people off! It’s crazy how certain pics can put you off massively. The 4oz pics guilty party have taken paired with black loafer and cuffs would make me run a mile but on the IH pics they look awesome and a completely different (and better imo) colour
-
Even better than I thought they would be…

-
Really want these but just snagged the 4oz bakers and I have 2 green pair and a Black of the Samurai’s. How do they compare to the 15oz Samurai’s? I think you have them?
-
Night and day different. The 10oz Iron Heart is a lot closer to OrSlow or Studio D’Artisan than the 15oz Samurai. Yeah, it’s lighter, but the biggest difference is the fabric itself. The IH is smooth and dense, while the Samurai is way more textured and slubby. the Iron Heart still feels tougher and more substantial than the OrSlow or SDA to me, not sure the weight on those there might be closer to eight or nine. I also like the fit a lot better.

@northsouthdenimguy Good to know…sounds like I do need them

-
Got mine today following a bit of hemming back and forth. Hit it perfect in the end. These are great. Hopefully come back in other colours next season.
-
I couldn't take it anymore had to order them from Guilty Party
-
@GoodtimeJohnny you won't regret it
-
@guiltyparty Couldn't possibly regret another purchase from you guys, and thanks again for always stocking exactly what I need! I'm a little jealous that steve can just cruise by and hang out, but maybe i'll move down there one day!
-
Welp.A little bit frustrated I grabbed a pair from iron shop provisions and paid extra for the hemming and it seems like they totally forgot to hem them, so now they're way too long. Wearing them today with a double fold. Happy with the fit though.
Is their any benefit to a chainstitch on these? Or is a regular hem good? Might bring to a local tailor and take care of it fast.

-
@Johnnyutah247 Hemmed "regular" so no need to find chainstitch. I am finding they look quite good cuffed
-
@will6er trying to get used to the double cuff and it's growing on me for sure, I think I'd prefer just a single cuff so I'd like to get a little taken off. Maybe I'll wear them like this a few times and see.
This fabric shouldn't rope like denim does from a chainstitch, so I would probably just go to a local tailor.
-
@Johnnyutah247 I bet if you hit up ISP they'll send you a label and turn the hemming service around quick. I get it if you're trying to have them for the upcoming heatwaves though.
