@baz Please use this guide for any information on how to measure bottoms per the IHUK method: https://ironheart.co.uk/pages/how-we-measure-bottoms

@ShopatIronHeart any feedback if that tag size 28 still showing available on the IH Japan website could be snagged for my purchase? Thanks in advance for any info provided.
-
@ShopatIronHeart Cancel my request for the tag size 28 from Japan please - I just realized that the rear rise on these run at least an inch lower in comparing the tag size 30 to both my black and indigo wabby painters I purchased in the past, and therefore would require a larger waist than previous. Thanks though if started the ball rolling already and my apologies.

@John-Galt No problem at all - I'll pass this along to @JoshC for you!

If I usually get jeans like 634s with a 32.2"-32.5" waist, should I shoot for tag 31 or 32? I'm a 32 in almost all IH pants, but I'm not sure on which size to get with these (and the brown version).
Tag 31 listed waist: 32.0"
Tag 32 listed waist: 32.8"Thanks!

These went quick!

The care info on the Iron Heart website says "We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry", however the care instructions on the pocket and tag say "tumble dry low". The same is true of the wabash pants and probably others. So which one should we follow and If we tumble dry, how much shrinkage can we expect? @ShopatIronHeart
-
I hung dry it and seemed fine afterwards. Not sure why you'd tumble dry with heat if you don't want shrinkage.

I don't want to hem them and have the inseam come up over time. Plus I'm curious why there is conflicting care info.
-
@Tobi They look really good and suit you perfectly. They go really well with a hoodie or a shirt too... I think I'll have to give them a go myself now

@markus_berlin_ Will take them travelling this summer.. one of my lightest IH long pants! They were fresh out of the brown bag, so without any creases yet..

What is printed on the label is what you can do without damaging the fabric. What we say on the site is what you can to (in our opinion) to ensure you don't have any shrinkage

@Alex ok - that’s a useful distinction. Thank you.
