@Oaktavia right on! You got the OD or indigo CPO? The CPO’s look bangin’ with the W as a nice detail 🔥 You gave it any love yet? I’m guessing it’s in queue before you give it full wizard treatment?

@cyclops yups! Digging this 301 cut with the higher rise. How’s your pair so far?

@RoxRocks86 I got the OD CPO! I had a pair of the regular non-OD pants but ended up trading them on here for a pair of 18oz indigo/indigo. I freaking love that indigo/indigo jam.

I wore the CPO to sleep for a few months and really set the creases, ended up washing it twice so far. Have not worn it out of the house yet. But it fits me better than any CPO I have. Not sure when it will be worn hard, I need to sort out my options for the fall.

@louisbosco haha glad you got yourself a pair as well! It was a good reminder to check the actual measurements next time 😅

@Oaktavia WHAT?!! 18oz Indigo/Indigo?! Need to go hunt this thread down stat!

@cyclops good call w/ the recent news of UHR’s. By the looks of it with SE restocking you’ll have a chance to grab a pair of the indigo in the future if it’s still on your wish list 🙂

@Oaktavia dang i had to look those up, found some fades on Heddels. those are the older, non-vintage 18oz, yah? sick

17-19oz is the sweet spot for me. I've been rocking these 19oz almost every day. the 633 spot is a great fit too. so close to the 888, but just ever so slightly different on the comfort:looks ratio.

@WhiskeySandwich I just got a pair of these last week and I'm finding the exact same thing with the fit. Been wearing them daily since I got em. This 633 with slightly higher rise is awesome in combo with this denim. Kinda wish the other 633s had the tiny bit higher rise, too, but I know lots of people love them as is!

I gave my SExIH25-633 another wash on the weekend, I was hoping to get another month in them, but it’s been a hot summer here.

I’ve been wearing these most days for the past 8 months, but I’m an office worker, so the bum is shiny and the creases aren’t deep. The colour is lightening and the weave and slub is showing through nicely.

This was their second wash, I did this one at 40*C, hoping to get a little more shrink. I’ll measure again soon before wearing.

Fade update! I’ve worn these everyday for the Invitational, these pics are from my April submission.

I’m really happy with everything about these jeans. As others have said, they were comfortable by day 3, but man are they comfy now! Loving how the fades have come in as well. So far I have 1 cold soak and 6 washes. I wear these at work and they get pretty dirty in the field, so not washing just isn’t an option. Fit pic is just after wash #6

Here are my 633-SEx25-OD. They have been my favorite pair for a while now and therefor they get the most time in my rotation. IRL the fades look like a cool charcoal-grey vs the inky blue-back you get with the sulphur od. Feels like the indigo is giving out before the direct-dye od. The fades are pretty faint but truly present, subtly and complex with lots of vertical slub now popping. unlike anything I’ve seen before. great job on these. glad I get to own ‘em.

is the overdye process for these the same as the 888 or 1955 etc? or are these a different type of garment dye?

The products will specify whether the are sulfur dyed or direct-dyed. These 633’s are the later. 633-SEx25-OD vs 777-14BR-OD (sulfer) vs 777-14BB for comparison.

Some updated photos of this beautiful denim. I found out recently that my wife and I are expecting a baby girl, and we’re beyond excited to add another blessing to our family. Our two kids got a little messy with the paint for our gender reveal. I thought it was a great opportunity to document it as part of my journey with these jeans. I’ll be giving it a wash today, so we’ll see if the paint stays or goes. The denim itself continues to soften and lighten up after each wash. I’ve got some very minor fraying on the knees. I was half-expecting to have a knee blowout at this point already, but it’s holding up pretty well. I may try some sort of sashiko reinforcement before the end of the competition. We shall see. One soak and three washes.
