Saturday Iron Heart dump run.
My wife’s like, “When are you going to take that thing off?”
It’s coming along nicely.
Every once in a while I wish I went with a 44 instead of 42, but then 10 minutes later I love this size. The arm holes are a liiiiiiiittle snug is the only issue I have.

Couldn’t wait LOL. Had to confirm the 888 fit cuz I want to potentially buy more before the fall and this is my first pair. Really pleased with how these turned out post soak/wash. Love the weight and feel of these right from day one. Gonna have to rotate them in until summer heat is too much.
I did 30 min soak and significant hand agitation with water as hot as I could possibly tolerate. Hot hot. Did lots of agitation. Drained. Refilled with fresh hot water. Repeated 3 times.
Drip dry.
Numbers pre and post soak below.
W 18.5 / 17.75
Thigh 13.75 / 13.25
Knee 9.5 / 9.2
Hem 9 / 8.75
Fr 13 / 12.5
Br 16 / 15.5
Inseam 37 / 35.5
Legit shrinkage that I was hoping for.

Hey everyone! I'm Devin - based in Maine. Recently got back into the denim scene after I lost some weight and pulled out an old favorite pair of Levis's with amazing fades that I'd totally forgotten about. Put em on and it was game on. Got me searching and learning (and buying!) again so here I am! Just got a few pieces of IH and love them. I've been part of other online communities (watches and guitars) and am excited to get to know this group. Love all the info and sharing I see here.
Bump price drop to $160
Redwing 1907s in rough and tough leather. 9.5D.
Tons of life in them, just starting to get good.
I got these on a deal from a guy who was actually using them on a job site (not fashion :-). He was what he called “a shovel” and you can see on the bottom of the right sole that he was repeatedly stepping on a shovel.
They’re a smidge too small for me (I’m a 9.5 EE in these) and it’s a shame to seem them sitting around.
I restored them to a certain extent (conditioned the leather, lightly scrubbed the soles), but intentionally did not try to remove all the patina and wear and tear. Someone else might want to do more to ‘em and I wanted to leave room for that. Also left original laces because I know people like to swap those too.
Priced to move. Would love to see them go to the forum instead of the Bay.
$160 plus actual shipping to your location.
PP and Venmo accepted.
Make sure you know your Redwing size in these!
Hit me up!

@brently I’m in the exact same spot - my ideal lands between XL and XXL. I’m going to go with XXL on the assumption the arm holes might be a touch bigger. Feel like it’s better to go a bit bigger and request slightly smaller measurements on this one
@goosehd thanks for the info. Helpful!
@RobeOfTheMagi thanks, I know the measurements for this run have not yet been shared. I’m just curious about how much people add in to allow for layering. Hoping that’ll help me pick the right size once measurements are shared. Psyched for this one
QUESTION for folks who have this or other IH CPO: how much do you size up if you want to be able to wear like a flannel or thin hoodie under it? I'm clear on my ideal IH shirt measurements for wearing over a t-shirt. Do I add an inch, inch and a half to the chest, shoulders and opening? Also I've read the arms can be pretty tight on these western CPOs. Better to skip layering? I'd planned on giving myself some extra room on this one because my others are quite snug. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you to @kneeglow for a smooth transaction! Fast and easy!
@SiRockxx thanks! It’s such an amazing fabric. Happy fading!
@JoshC thanks for the quick response and details! Much appreciated. Might have to come back to you for the other elbow in the future!
