The cap is 12oz i think.
I own the IH-802. Hickory logger pants. 17oz.
Definitely heavier hickory fabric than the one used for this cap.

It’s my the 91 12oz—that is a distinctly different pattern. It’s like the 107 I think.

I don’t know, @Aetas the 148 came out with a new 12oz (from the forum thread) in 2016. These caps got made in 2012. I still think it’s a batch of 07 fabric. I love your spirit of sleuthing! ️‍️

Neat to know past hickory has some wider white stripes compared to wider indigo ones like on this cap. I prefer more indigo, glad it was made with the wider indigo stripes.

I just need to wait for my head and forehead tattoos to heal and I'll be wearing it on the daily!

@Mister_Brue i think so, when laid flat against it, only a small amount of the wings overlap the folds.

It looks cool, but I’m not sure I would want to sew up the folded part of the hat. It may compromise stretch and movement in the crown of your hat.

@sabergirl Ah, I hadn't thought of that, thanks for pointing that out. I suppose I could move it to the side where it isn't folded. Not sure if that will look right either.

@Oaktavia the size and shape of that patch seems like it might make more sense on a hoodie - maybe around where the left breast pocket would be (if it were a trucker jacket)
