        Killer set up!!

One thing I love doing is getting uncomfortably warm and then uncomfortably cold, be it what I described previously or doing hot springs into a cold river, hot tub into a snow drift, etc. they say it’s really good for you.

One thing I could be better about is finishing with the cold part so that you go out with lower core temperature and greater wakefulness. I usually just finish my routine with a cold shower but really need to work up the gumption to end on a cold plunge and then cold shower.

        Think it, be it.

Beautiful! Well done @Brock I love Sauna a lot. Do it once a week during winter.

God has blessed you richly, so get down on your knees and thank him. Don’t forget the less fortunate or God will personally kick your ass. I’d love to do it for him, but I can’t be everywhere. Willie Nelson

This thread is epic! Nice build @Brock Id love to build my own… not exactly in the budget. I love ending my warm shower with a cold minute or two. @mclaincausey that is a solid routine! Your practice is inspiring me to add the elements in like that

@Fadez thanks man. I gotta say, I come out of it with a level of serenity that is difficult for me to otherwise achieve these days with work stresses and a toddler.

Extremely envious of Brock’s setup. I have to go to a club for my fix.

              Think it, be it.

Thankfully, I have a sauna king my apparent complex, but nothing as impressive as yours.

                        Off to sweat now.

I recently tried cold plunge for the first time, quite the experience!

I heard it described as micro-dosing hypothermia in a meme once, which really tickled me.. 😆

@T4920 I randomly saw this after @mclaincausey shared his explanation of torturing himself with extreme temperatures. Serendipity! 😂

Torture indeed. Ya gotta move as quickly as you can between extremes and a plunge ain’t a plunge unless you submerge your head, which very few people do at the club. It feels like a bellows is violently pulling all the air out of your lungs to do the plunge. It is not comfortable. Then you kind of stabilize a bit and I personally try to count breaths to distract from the discomfort.

Then jumping into the hot tub it feels cold for a while and like tiny needles are poking your neurons.

Consult your doctor etc but I love it.
