@Jett129 thanks man! I’ll have to check them out.
@mclaincausey i tend to prefer anejo but I like to try everything and compare. Honestly, i can’t really rationalize a pattern behind my preferences for anything other than whiskey. I just like what I like. Lol

I didn’t mention it, but wife also brought back some Clase Azul reposado from San Miguel de Allende. It was comped by the resort. Not really my bag but I’ll save that one for margs and palomas.
I’m more excited about the shot glasses she said they use in that region to sip tequila.
-
@pechelman Very nice pour ya got there. You’ll be simmering along with the Pozole.
-
Happy friday!
(The drink is revolver)

New scotch in my cabinet. Rating this one high. Woke up with a headache this morning cause I went back for thirds. Highly recommend

Ingredients for my best Old Fashioned ever. 2 Teaspoons Pappy 23 year bourbon barrel aged maple syrup and the same amount of water. 2 shakes of Angostura and Orange bitters 1.5 ounces of Jefferson’s Ocean Rye and Willett bourbon. Add ice before the hootch. A twist from a Caracara Orange. Stir and sip.

@Jett129 Hell yea. I like switching it up between bourbon and rye in an Oldie.
-
@WhiskeySandwich I had been switching them up and one night decided to try both and loved it.
-
@endo - hell yeah!
Try this man -
Had it last time i was in Milan and it was wonderful -
I might try using an aerator (meant frother) on the Campari, stirring with ice, and then floating some soda to get the best of both worlds.
-
Lacking an aetator (edit: frother) I did the shake, strained it, enjoyed a sip, and floated some hop water. Not bad! Thanks @prpx
-
Glad you like it. Its a real treat for campari lovers

@Mizmazzle If I ever go back to Louisville,Four Roses is a distillery I have to go to. I’ve really been enjoying their Small Batch Select. Nothing wrong with what’s in your glass. I feel like they fly under the bourbon radar and all their products are good values.
