When I was 14 I have my ear pierced, but I have not worn an earring for 40 plus years. A week or so ago I put a sleeper in it, thought I may as well, as there was already a hole there. Not necessarily a critical comment, but this seems to be a good place for it as it came from someone outside our world and was actually quite funny (the person who made the comment certainly thought so, albeit whilst in a state of moderately advanced refreshment). A few weeks ago, I was out wearing my IHJ-129 which inevitably attracted positive attention - nobody criticises the horse! The person asked about the leather and I answered, but I wasn’t prepared for the follow up question, which was along the lines of was I equipped in a manner commensurate with the source of the leather? Of course a gentleman doesn’t discuss such matters with a stranger so I allowed him to draw his own conclusions!
