7mm thick hide?! Most belt loops won’t even let that through. IH will, of course—though 2 layers at the tail, maybe not. Love to hammered copper buckle!

So I've had a saddleback leather belt for the last 7 years or so. Finally decided it was time to swap that out.

I had been looking around on instagram etc and kept seeing pigeon tree crafting. The makups looked really sweet and a few weeks ago decided to pull the trigger.

I shot Isaac a few msgs on instagram and he wrote back right away.  He's a great guy and very easy to talk to. He is also into IH and maybe a member here?

I the more I thought about it I really wanted a new belt to match my natty CXL vibergs. He did have that leather which was cool. After some thinking felt I should go brass hardware to match the Viberg makeup.

Today the belt arrived and I was/am beyond blown away with the quality. These are a perfect match to my vibergs and will rock this belt for years to come!

I see at least another one in my future.

Is this a custom belt? I don't see the double prong on the website.

Yes and no. I wanted it wider,which he had no problem with and didn’t mean to charge extra but since I didn’t care he made me the key holder. The only buckle he had that could accommodate the width was the double prong. Tear drop holes,and there you have it. Super nice guy.

Cool thanks for sharing the information. I just hit him up on instagram. I was planning on buying another Pigeon Tree belt but after seeing that indigo one…my mind may have changed.

I can definitely see you wearing that belt,especially with your 25OZ IB. Also you’ll probably get your belt a lot quicker from him than Pigeon Tree.

We arranged for a payment on Tuesday, he still has those raw brass buckles. Stoked that you posted your belt because I never would have seen it otherwise. And woo I agree it would look great with my XHSib.

Do you have any photos of patina you have acquired or is yours new still?

I haven’t taken any photos,but I’ve been wearing it quite a lot. It’s far from new. It’s gotten a lot darker. I’ll try and take some pictures later.

Timing is everything. Just had the chance. Theses are iPhone pictures,but you should get the idea. Jeans are an old pair of 555-BKs.
