Seems like everyone would pick at least one of these up…

As my better half says, “you already told me that”, but more 6oz flannel workshirts would indeed be great news - my IHSH-201 is probably the most versatile of my far too many IH shirts…

@Bill-C I love that man. I could definitely use some lighter weight flannels where I’m at.

@Bill-C Was wearing the new off white 9oz 414 today - hottest day of the year so far (22 c / 72 f) and was thinking its a shade too warm. Something lighter would be great.

@sophisto000 We have been trying to redo them for years. It is always a hard n o from Haraki

@Giles Got it. Now I understand the old guard’s talk of grail hunting through eBay, etc.

There are certain things that we would all love to see make a return, but they either proved too problematical to make in production volumes, or the workshop or mill that made the garments or wove the cloth has subsequently gone out of business, so we just cant. And because what we make is often on the limit of what can be done, there are often no alternatives to go to.....

The original IHSH-08 sample was made out of 21oz superblack denim. It was amazing and we ordered lots, but although the very skilled sampling seamstress could make it, no one else could, so it never even made production....

@Alex Any plans for stonewashed denim? I thought I saw pictures of an IH stonewash shirt from an industry event last year?

@teddyjay that would be pretty off-brand for IH. Do you have a link to the pics?

@teddyjay I think it’s very unlikely. Never say never, because when we do Haraki usually tries something new, but he once told me that he’s so good at washing jeans (from previous jobs) that he has to pretend he can’t do it now so he’s not hired to do any on a consultancy basis because he hates doing it so much. Also not great for the environment

@Boit no pics. I saw it on somebody's Instagram stories from last year. Or maybe it was just a used/broken in shirt.

Has Iron Heart ever made a rugby jersey? There's some cool possibilities with heavy cloth and various patterns I'd think.

@ManiacLachy I don't think its been done, no. Maybe also a bit too off brand for us, too

@Alex true, a little off from work-wear/americana. I feel like IH could make a beast of a rugby shirt though - tough, hard-wearing and good looking.

Now that I think of it though, I can't see Haraki going for it. A man can dream of what could be ...

I’d love to see a type II or unmodified Type III jacket in vintage 18oz denim. I have 2 pairs of jeans in that fabric. It might just be my favorite IH denim.
