I think being able to see it in person at the party could have motivated quite a few sales. Based on photos alone I though it was going to me much lighter but the insulated lining puts it in a mid weight range I think. So, I didn’t feel like waiting for an M1A.

Hey! I’m an XXL in the westerns and UHF, typically prefer to go XXXL on jackets for the shoulders and the chest. The XXL in this piece is perfect, and happy I didn’t go XXXL. I’m 6’0”, 207-ish. Hope this helps!

I thought all hope was lost, but found one the other day at Aitora (they still have M and L in stock if anyone is looking for one), and it just arrived today.

Wow, instant favourite. Very cool jacket. I'm sure this one will see a lot of spring/autumn use over the next few years.

This thread has been a little quiet and curious how everyone is getting along with these jackets. It’s one of those where I kind of regret not picking up, but did so because I have too many in rotation.

Are they warm, durable, windproof, etc.? Love to hear some thoughts and feedback on them.

Love mine, very glad I was able to find one after the party. IH technical/nylon stuff is so great. I’ll throw it on this weekend and will take some action photos on a dog walk for you.

I didn’t originally get it because I heard a green MA-1 was likely in the foreseeable future. (Orange lining ). It haunted me and I pulled the trigger about a week after getting back from Gosport. Now that I have it, I can totally see space in my closet for both.

@Matt I have talked myself out of Sage Green MA-1’s from Real McCoys and Buzz Rickson’s for the last couple of winters, if IH do make one I’m definitely on board.. you’ve got me crossing my fingers now!

This jacket sold out so fast I thought we might see more posts. I'm guessing lower numbers produced?

The temperature goes from60 to 45 to 20 then back again in a matter of hours so I can only wear this on the more moderate days. I’ll try to get some photos next time I wear it. It’s been getting its turn though thankfully.

I am going to sell this jacket I have tried it on so many times in the last 6 months and I just don't love the fit enough and still haven't worn it. it's just too short (I know, I know--it's the style).
