Thanks @SKT and @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot It's such a beast of a fabric at 17oz. The duck fabric doesn't soften the same way as denim does, so this feels really crisp and substantial even after many wears and washes.
I would also say with the recent "red W" discussions, the 211 would be completely changed IMO in a visually negative way if it included one.

@WhiskeySandwich I’d take an 888 in this fabric all day!! Sadly, don’t think it’s meant to be. I’m thinking of having them tapered, which I know is faux pas by many folks’ standards. But, fuck em!! Haha I prefer a smaller leg opening.
