It was a slow burn for me with this one. Can’t really explain it. I think it’s loosened up a lot and lays really well now. I put it on the other day and was like, “This thing fits great!!”

@goosehd To be honest, I don’t know. My wife got them in Kochi (Shikoku island) Japan at an outdoor market when she went back for a visit about 6 years ago. The only markings on them indicate that they are left handed which prompted her to get them for me. They are by my side most days, get a lot of use, and still cut very well. I’m sure if you googled “Japanese pruners” you would get a ton of hits. Sorry I cant be of more help, but they are amazing secateurs/pruners if you can find them.
