@worn2fade Sizing varies between each run so always check the measurements. The OD is different because the dyeing shrinks the denim a lot. I went one size larger in the 293-OD than my usual IH CPO size to compensate. So I wouldn't expect the same issues with the 409-IB since it is not overdyed.

@worn2fade I don't think there's one pattern for all cpo shirts. My 422 for example fits different to the 293 I had and the 409 I tried on. All the same size if I remember correctly. The fabric also makes the cuts different for some reason I don't know. Maybe because they use other machines for hefty fabrics like duck or the 19oz ib

@Nobunaga for sure it’s just the specific measurement I’m talking about (armpit) is not one that they put on their size charts and sometimes they don’t have the product in hand to measure it right before the release.
I’ll hit them up to see if they have some in hand a few days prior to drop and try to get that armpit measurement.

@FlavourFade yeah I know the fabrics definitely have a role to play in it as well but I’d be surprised if they didn’t have some sort of a “shoot as close to this” type of template for each size. But hey, maybe not!

@worn2fade Its not dumb at all, its hard to say whether it will be similar or not until the product lands, but definitely do reach out to us when we get a restock so we can have a look for you and thats with any measurement for a product if we don't state it on the size chart we can look into something specific for you, you might just need to show us how you are measuring that specific spot so we we are on the same page.

Recently got a almost new 140 IG, now I know it's not the same fabric, but close.. took some snaps today (The cat is a nice 'happy accident' haha)

@moskiitto @worn2fade fwiw I also sized 1 up, it’s great as a jacket or with a tee. My guess is that tts would also fit, but maybe snug in the armpits indeed, like Steve said.

Thanks brother. I’m typically not opposed to sizing up, it’s just going TTS gives me a not-so-bad long arm, sizing up usually makes the body longer than my liking and the sleeves a little too big. We’ll see how the measurements look!

for me this shirt fits even more tailored around the arm holes and forearms than the 293. Some of this could be the rigidity of the fabric. But one thing for sure, the creasing on the sleeves dramatically pulls the cuff back compared to it. It's more like the indigo 19L in that regard. So depending on how sensitive you are or how long your arms are it might not be a problem @worn2fade
