I’m pretty old school. I have two stepdaughters, 17 and 18, and my bio girls who live in Florida with their mom are 13 and 18, so fortunately they don’t have to listen to my rules.

No boys allowed in bedrooms or upstairs, and no boys in the house when we’re not home. One of our couple friends has kids around the same age and asked, “Why do you do that? You know they’re gonna mess around anyway.”

I said, “Yeah, but I can at least make them work for it like I had to…”

Pretty lucky to have good kids. My only rules are get good grades and don’t get pregnant. Short of that they can join a gang for all I care.

A quick trip down to Florida to see my daughter graduate high school on Monday. One of my stepdaughters graduated also on Monday here in Atlanta. Georgia and Florida never do anything on the same schedule except for this one thing 🤣

Oh well… three down, two more to go. One more next year, then a four year break until the final grad.

I walked into the laundry room the other day and it looked like a Kleenex bomb went off...thank god I do most of my laundry separately. Learned from previous mistakes.
