Whenever I cook new potatoes for an evening meal, I always do many more than we need for the meal itself. Then the following morning, I have to get rid of them. Fried in olive oils and loads of salt and pepper. and served with whatever. This morning it was 2 fried eggs...

Will say it always pales in comparison to the cafe in Withington Manchester when I was at uni but they did have chips and black pudding

I’ve (US) always called those egg in the holes and so does Laura (CAN). Must be a UK/N.Amer. thing. What does everybody else call it?
