Could use yalls help in sizing. I know the majority say you need to measure a jacket you have to determine sizing but I do not currently have any similar jackets or even a good fitting jacket.

What I do know is that for the majority of iron heart shirts, I do comfortably fit into a xxl for both westerns and CPOs.

Do you usually wear the same size as an iron heart shirt or do you usually size up to the next?

If it helps, the jacket would usually only be worn in winters with a flannel underneath or hoodies.

That is not to say I might not just wear it as well with a t shirt under but I assume that will be more rare.

Thanks for your input. I am trying to decide if an xxxl is the way to go and should be my starting point for IH jackets.

@Ral1121 I would check the P2P on those shirts that fit you and get a jacket a hair bigger than that, if youre planning on sweatshirts certainly account for a size up.

@Ral1121 also ignore the letter sizing and go solely off measurements, can't go wrong there- you eliminate the variables thay way.

@Ral1121 I wear a large in the western UHFs and CPOs. I can go large or medium in the workshirts. Most of the jackets I go medium. For this one I went large and its perfect. So if you are stuck, I think you'd be safe with the same size as your westerns.

@Ral1121 I usually wear XXL/xxxl in shirts, depends on p2p. I went with XXL in the 123 because my plan was to wear it with only a tee, but I tried to wear it with a 12 oz western and it worked. If I would do it regularly or layer heavier I'd size up.

Went to Statement Store today and grabbed the last one available. Size L fits perfect. I am usually somewhere between M and L. I can wear it with just a t-shirt but layering would be also an option. Love it!

I took the leather pull off mine. Did anyone else do it too? I wasn’t digging the way the leather draped when done up. I like the jacket more now.

Can anyone chime in on the "spray the arms" method. I do notice on most of my IH CPOs, jackets etc. the "stock" crease straight down the arm is pretty prominent.
I never really thought much about it as I just wear my pieces but I am curious about this method.

@jglatz spray the arms is to spray the elbow pit area before wearing it to help set creases for the arm honeycombs as far as I know!

@jglatz I feel like spraying the arms helps with the creases more than with the fold line. I mostly soak the arms before wear and let them dry to get rid of the long vertical crease

@jglatz do you do anything to get rid of the stock crease? I've noticed it on a couple of shirts and would like to avoid the stripe fade if possible.
