Where the heck is @RoxRocks86 when I need her?!
Hanging a chandelier from an 18 foot ceiling today. Rented the ladder, got it hung and wired and no outlet powers the light.
How much luck do you think I’m having getting an electrician to call me back on a Saturday afternoon?
IHV-16 and its giant pockets are coming in mighty handy.

@jordanscollected you’re making me very nervous up there. Ceilings should only be two feet taller than the person who lives under them. Unless you have a big library. Or an aviary. Or a giraffeiary.

@jordanscollected you are quite gutsy, my friend. Hoping an electrician rescues you from having to swing on that chandelier trying to troubleshoot. I’d be on the ground with my knees buckling just looking up. btw, we all know you’re just showing off that double denim fit while you’re your high

@RoxRocks86 we figured out what outlet works the light but still no power. I’ve gotten quite comfortable way up there after about 30 trips, with my phone on video call in one hand and a voltmeter in the other checking the wires. Turns out there’s an issue with the neutral hopefully at the switch. And as for showing off, the vest proved as much function as fashion for the job.
@Matt my wife went in the basement with the cat cause she couldnt bare to watch. After an hour with no thud she figured I must have it down.
